Buenos Aires, November 14 (NA)— The Banking Association today announced a salary update of 2.3% for October, bringing the initial salary to $1,959,956.26, in line with that month's inflation. The new adjustment will apply to all gross, normal, habitual, and total monthly, remunerative, and non-remunerative salaries. With this adjustment, the amount reaches $1,747,233.21 in its initial category, subject to future salary increases. The retroactive pay for October, plus the retroactive pay for Banker's Day, will be paid along with November salaries, as communicated. "In this way, once again, the Banking Association guarantees that bank workers continue to safeguard the purchasing power of their salaries," stated the union led by Sergio Palazzo. Conventional and non-conventional bonuses will also be included, as learned by the Argentine News Agency. In this way, the union's new salary increase is positioned in parallel with the 2.3% inflation in the tenth month of the year and accumulates an increase of 24.8% since January of this year compared to December 2024 salaries. The increase also impacts the bonus for Banker's Day, an additional benefit that sector employees receive every year in November.
